Team Selection
The time has come to name your team and picking your all conquering line-up couldn't be simpler:
- Study the Player List to decide which players you want to name in your team.
- Once you've registered - it's free - you'll be taken to the Team Selection page.
- Search by name, sort by position or use the drop down list to find the players you think will take you to glory. Simply click on the player to add him to your team sheet.
- You must pick 11 players and can choose from every player at the tournament.
- At the start of the competition you can pick up to two players from any one nation, but this increases as the tournament develops.
- The players are split into goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards and you can choose one of three formations:
4-3-3: Four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards
4-4-2: Four defenders, four midfielders and two forwards
5-3-2: Five defenders, three midfielders and two forwards
- In the first two rounds of the knockout stages you can pick up to three players from any one nation and this goes up again to a maximum of four players for the semi-final, final and third placed play-off.
